Today’s events include a Winter Carnival that features ice sculpting and road hockey outside the McMaster University Student Centre. Plenty of hot chocolate and apple cider will be available to help keep participants warm.

“It’s like Welcome Week, but with snow, or lack thereof,” said Lori Moulden, alumni officer, Student and Young Alumni Programmes.

Frost Week officially started on Monday afternoon with a Polar Bear Run around campus and a Movie Night in the McMaster University Student Centre with free hot chocolate and popcorn.

Events continue tomorrow with a Men’s and Women’s Basketball Double Header. Frost Week toques are on sale at the Union Market for $2. The first 200 people who wear them to Friday night’s basketball game will get in for free.

The Student Relations Committee, IRC, Society of Off Campus Students, MSU and Campus Events have been busy planning this fun-filled week.
