Oregon Did the Right Thing

After watching Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount punch Boise State's linebacker Byron Hout after yesterday's game, my immediate reaction was that Blount should get kicked off the team. Oregon must have had a similar reaction as the school announced today that Blount will be suspended for the season. If police officers didn't hold Blount back, there is a good chance that Blount would have gone Ron Artest on the crowd. The huge running back is lucky that the police officers held him back, or he might be sitting in a jail right now. This running back had an NFL future and now he won't even get drafted. Oregon goes from a potential BCS team to a team that will have a hard team being ranked thanks to the immature act of Blount.
