Rodriguez Plans to Play Three QBs in Opener

Michigan Fans

Michigan fans want to see a much improved team this year in the second season with Rich Rodriguez as coach. These same fans want to see Rodriguez improve Michigan's offense and finally find a quarterback that fits his system. Rodriguez plans to use three quarterbacks in the season opener Sept. 5 against Western Michigan. True freshmen Tate Forcier and Denard "Shoelace" Robinson will see snaps along with Nick Sheridan. Robinson earned the nick name "Shoelace" because he never ties the laces of his cleats. "Shoelace" runs a 4.32 40-yard dash in high school and should be one the most entertaining characters in the Big Ten this season. [Associted Press via AJC]
