Revenge, Revenge, Revenge. That is what Tennessee players and fans are thinking in this game. Almost every Tennessee player that was interviewed this week brought up the fact that this team is motivated because of the embarrassing loss to a poor UCLA team. Many Tennessee fans think that if Tennessee would have beat UCLA, Phillip Fulmer would still be the coach at Tennessee. Both of these two teams are improved as Lane Kiffin and Rick Neuheisel both brought in strong recruiting classes at Tennessee and UCLA. This game will be won in between the trenches as the line play will be the reason why a team wins this game.
The Vols once again need a strong rushing attack, but the problem is UCLA has one of the best defensive tackles in the nation in Brian Price. This future NFL starter will create havoc against quarterback Jonathan Crompton, but Bryce Brown, Montario Hardesty and David Oku will make sure that Tennessee has success in the run game. Safety Eric Berry will get his first interception of the season and Brown will once again rush for over 100 yards. Expect UCLA quarterback Kevin Prince to struggle playing in Neyland Stadium.
