The Atlanta Braves are currently four games back of the wild-card leader Colorado Rockies with four games to play. If the Braves somehow make the playoffs, this would be one of the biggest comebacks in Major League Baseball history. Teams (New York Mets) have choked before, but the Rockies refuse to lose too much ground against the Braves. The Rockies open a three game series with the Los Angeles Dodgers while the Braves play the Washington Nationals at Turner Field. Tommy Hanson pitches tonight against the Nationals and the rookie has a 2.53 ERA in his last five outings. The Atlanta Journal Constitution has a great preview of the very important series that starts tonight for the Braves.
