Homer Alert: The AJC’s Mark Bradley said he would be surprised if Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer doesn’t finish in the top five for the Hesiman Trophy. Mark, did you forget about Tim Tebow, Sam Bradford, Jahvid Best, Jevan Snead and Dez Bryant? I love Georgia Tech this year and might pick them to win the ACC but Dwyer will not finish in the top five for the Heisman. [AJC]

Tim Hudson Update: Atlanta Braves pitcher Tim Hudson made his third rehab start Monday and pitched four innings for Class AAA Gwinnett Braves. The former 20 game winner threw 40 pitches – 29 for strikes – and allowed four hits. Hudson said he is in no hurry to get back to the majors based on how well his teammates in Atlanta are pitching. Huge Props to the NFL players union: NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s disciplinary authority will be the subject of the new collective bargaining agreement. Goodell has been a good commissioner so far, but is not consistent. [ESPN]

Disappointing Night for T.V.: I had high hopes for both Shaq and T.O. but neither was that entertaining. The T.O. show had its moments in Buffalo and should drop the storylines of his assistants, nobody cares. Shaq was entertaining at times and expect Entourage’s Jeremy Piven to do better next week on WWE Raw. [Wrestlezone]

NFL Holdouts: San Francisco 49ers rookie Michael Crabtree and Buffalo Bills rookie Aaron Maybin needs to end their holdouts now. The problem is, neither one of these holdouts looks like it is going to end anytime soon. [Pro Football Talk]
