Boston Red Sox Trade Kotsay for Anderson

This is not the trade that Boston Red Sox fans were hoping to happen. Roy Halladay is still on the Toronto Blue jays but the Red Sox made a trade anyways. Center Fielder Brian Anderson was batting .238 with two homers and 13RBIs for the Chicago White Sox while Mark Kotsay was hitting .257 with one home run and and five RBIs in 27 games for the Red Sox. Anderson was recently sent down to Triple-A Charlotte while Kotsay was designated for assignment this week. [ESPN]
