The New York Yankees Will Win The World Series

Considering they have the best record in Major League Baseball, I am not really going out on a limb with this pick. The New York Yankees swept the Boston Red Sox over the weekend and I think they will win another World Series. From the Los Angeles Dodgers to the Philadelphia Phillies, some baseball fans and analysts are picking other teams over the Yankees as the favorite to win it all this season. The Yankees will go as far as pitcher A.J. Burnett takes them and I think he is capable of having a dominant postseason. Mariano Rivera is once again one of the best closers in the game and first baseman Mark Teixeira and outfielder Johnny Damon are the clutch hitters the Yankees need in October. As much as it pains this Yankees-hater to say it, the New York Yankees will win this year's World Series. Here's hoping the Yankees play the Dodgers and we see Joe Torre play his old club.
