Former NBA Player is Now In Iraq

The late Pat Tillman once passed up on millions of dollars in the NFL to serve in Iraq and Afghanistan. Tilman is once of the biggest heroes to every play in the NFL and a former NBA player is doing the same. The Associated Press has a great article on Tim James and his journey from the NBA to the Army. James was a first round pick in 1999 and said he wants to give back to a country that gave so much to him. The former Miami Heat guard didn't tell most members of the unit that he played in the NBA, because he didn't want to be treated differently.[Associated Press via AJC]
