It’s Not On Crabtree

michael crabtree

Of course the rookie salary structure in the NFL is jacked up. That said, we’re on board with Crabtree’s “holdout”. Truthfully, Crabtree isn’t really holding out. He’s not under contract, so at this moment he’s unemployed not holding out on his team. Are we the only ones that remember draft day 2009? There was no one in the world that thought that Al Davis made the right decision picking DHB over Crabtree. Why then is the sports world outraged that Crabtree wants to be paid as if he was the better receiver? He is the better receiver and one of the top four receivers that we’ve seen in college football (Larry Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson and Randy Moss are the others). It’s not Crabtree’s fault that Al Davis goes to the bathroom on himself. The Niners need to stop attempting to pay him as if it were.
