Breaking News: Raiders Interested in Leach

There is no way this rumor is correct, right? The Dan Patrick Show just tweeted that the Oakland Raiders are interesting in hiring former Texas Tech coach Mike Leach. It was reported earlier Monday that Al Davis was thinking about firing coach Tom Cable and you knew that Davis would hire a name that nobody was thinking of. Look at the last three coaches that Davis hired in Oakland: Art Shell, Lane Kiffin and Cable. Shell is currently out of the NFL and Kififn is coaching in college. After Cable gets fired, there is not one NFL team that would even consider bringing in Cable as their head coach. It is one thing to laugh at the Raiders for being one of the biggest jokes in the NFL, but when is Davis going to learn that he is running this team into the ground? The sad part is that things will only get better for the Raiders when Davis unfortunately leaves us for a better place. Just image the pirate-obsessed Leach coaching in the Black Hole.
