How bad are things going for the Cleveland Browns? Owner Randy Lerner plans on meeting with "Dawg Pound Mike" and Tony Schafer to talk about their planned protest. The two fans have been urging fans to stay away from the opening kickoff against the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 16. The Browns play the Ravens on Monday Night Football and the two fans want the nation to see just how sick the fans are with the pathetic product that the Browns are putting on the field. Lerner will not fire coach Eric Mangini during the team's bye week and he wants to bring in a strong leader to help run the Browns.
It is unbelievable that Lerner would even meet with fans on this issue and this looks like an owner that is desperate to please the fans. Mangini should get fired after the season and this team needs a miracle for this team to compete in the NFL sometime in the next decade. We will look later tonight at how people like Mangini keep getting jobs in sports.
