• The annual Reggie Bush season ending knee injury should happen any day now. So who had August in your office pool? Bush is really looking more and more like the Greg Oden of football players, great talent with the knees of a 76 year old. With his recent off the field loss, we just wonder about Reggie’s state of mind. [Fox Sports]
• Eli Manning got paid. As a Giants apologist fan, we’re kind of “eh” about this. Is Eli now overpaid? Absolutely. Did the Giants have a choice? Nope. Good for Eli. Now hopefully someone, anyone will step up at WR. [ESPN]
• Donte Stallworth is sorry for the homicide and would like to get back to stealing money. Eric Mangini has to be wondering is Roger Goodell could do him a solid and suspend Donte for the year. Sure, he’s a local boy, but he can sit at home and not contribute just as easy as he can do it from the sideline. [USA Today]
