Today is one of most overrated days in sports as it is the NFL Trade Deadline. Some people have thought that there could be more movement this year compared to other years, but there has been no major trades today. A small trade just happend that sent former St. Louis Rams linebacker Will Witherspoon to the Philadelphia Eagles for former Eagles receiver Brandon Gibson and a fifth-round pick. It would be nice if the NFL Trade Deadline was like Major League Baseball's, but that is never going to happen. For those of you that are holding out hope that your team might make a deal, the NFL Network's Jason La Canfora lists the Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens among the buyers at the deadline. All you will hear about today is that the Patriots cut another stiff to save money and somehow the mainstream media acts like this is a big story.
