In the first NFL game of this 2009 season, the Tennessee Titans beat the Buffalo Bills 21-18 that included a 40 yard touchdown run on a fake punt by Titans punter A.J. Trapasso. Here are some observations about this meaningless game:
- Titans running back Chris Johnson looks more explosive than last season and LenDale white looks like a completly different player after his weight loss.
- Loved the call by Titans coach Jeff Fisher and Trapasso had the perfect fake to make that play work.
- Vince Young could lose his backup job to Patrick Ramsey as Young looked lost at times.
- The Bills offensive line looked improved over last year and the no huddle offense should help the Bills score more points.
- T.O. did well seperating himself from defensive backs and Trent Edwards looked his way on multiple occasions on the few plays that T.O. was involved in.
- It was nice to see a Bills kicker hit a 47-yard field goal for once. If only Scott Norwood would have done the same...
