Duke picked up a rare road win with a 49-28 win over N.C. State and quarterback Thaddeus Lewis led the way with 459 yards and six total touchdowns. Duke coach David Cutcliffe was so impressed with his performance that he said, "I believe that is the finest game that I have had a quarterback have in college." You need to remember that Cutcliffe coached Peyton Manning at Tennessee and Eli Manning at Ole Miss. We do not agree with Cutcliffe's statement, but Lewis did have one of the most impressive performances of the weekend. [SI]
