Reports that Tennessee has hired David Cutcliffe are premature. The way we hear it Cut is demanding that he be allowed to bring his entire staff. With a number of quality assistants still on staff, Mike Hamilton hasn’t given in to the demands just yet.
Our source tells us that Cut loves it where he’s at and is unwilling to negotiate. Either Hamilton allows the full staff or Cut stays in Durham.
Wes Rucker of the Chattanooga Times-Free Press is reporting tonight that Kyle Whittingham, Kevin Sumlin, Randy Edsall, and Derrick Dooley are getting interest from the university.
Again, one side or the other could budge and Cut could be the man before daylight, but as of now ALL reports that it is done are premature.
