You are probably sick of hearing about the NCAA investigation involving the use of Vol Hostesses to recruit players off campus, but there some new information involving this situation. Here is Tennessee's statement:
"The University of Tennessee confirms that there is an NCAA review under way. Both university and NCAA guidelines are a part of the Orange Pride’s orientation and training. If those guidelines were violated, we will take appropriate action. Because of federal student privacy regulations, we can’t comment further.”
Lane Kiffin and Mike Hamilton are supposed to address the situation as early as tomorrow on WNML The Sports Animal and it will be interesting to see how much they can address the issue. My guess is that they will admit that they did nothing wrong and dodge some of the important questions. If you missed the article from the New York Times, here is the original article.
If you are drying to see pictures of Tennessee's Orange Pride Group, here is the link to some of the girls.
Check back here on Thursday for the latest news on this situation. This is not a good month for Lane Kiffin if you combine this with the rumors of Jim Chaney, Ed Orgeron and Lance Thompson being linked to other coaching jobs.
